Instructions for abstract authors SSP & SwissPedNet
All accepted abstracts will be published in a supplementum of Swiss Medical Weekly. All abstracts have to be submitted in English.
Accepted abstracts will be presented at the congress as oral communications or posters.
The address table has to be filled in with the address of the first author. This address will be published in the list of first authors in the final programme.
Choose a category for your abstract by indicating the corresponding number (1-5):
1: Case reports
2: General pediatrics
3: Nursing
4: Speciality pediatrics
5: SwissPedNet session
The SwissPedNet Session welcomes any abstracts across all pediatric disciplines on studies with an observational or interventional design as well as systematic reviews. Case reports and case series cannot be considered.
Choose your desired form of presentation by indicating the corresponding letter (A, B or C):
A: Presentation exclusively as free communication
B: Presentation as free communication or poster (let the committee choose)
C: Presentation exclusively as poster
The scientific committee will make the final decision on the form of presentation.
Indicate all involved clinics/departements/institutes/hospitals and allocate the authors (including first author) by indicating the corresponding number(s). Multiple allocations have to be seperated by a comma without blank/space.
There is a limit of 2500 characters (including blanks/spaces) for the text of your abstract (see the counter bottom right).
Text can be copied in from Word or other text editors.
You can not insert tables or graphics.
Before submitting you can proofread a pdf version of your abstract, thereafter either edit or submit your abstract.
After submitting your abstract you'll receive a confirmation by e-mail (to the address indicated in the address table) with a pdf version attached.
The extended deadline for Abstract-Submission is 31 January 2025.
